is based largely in part to our commitment to keeping our clients fully informed concerning the progress of their cases. We believe that keeping in close contact with our clients allows us to gain insight into their lives and acheive a better understanding of the consequences that a catastrophic injury can have on a person, their ability to work and to enjoy life's activities. We build relationships with our clients that allow us to work as effective advocates for their interests. We are proud of our achievements and we are truly blessed and honored to know that 90% of our new clientele comes to us as a referral from existing or previous clients.
We handle a wide variety of matters, not just personal injury or medical malpractice cases. Our vast experience in matters such as worker's compensation, criminal litigation, commercial and residential real estate, probate and estate administration, family law and divorce, gives us a unique perspective because so many aspects of these practice areas carry-over into personal injury law.
We attribute part of our success to our technical knowledge and hands-on experience in the engineering, construction and manufacturing fields. Whether an injury is caused by the failure of a defective weld on a support bracket, or the poor design and construction of a building, we have the knowledge and experience to understand complex design failures and to educate judges and juries.
When was the last time you saw a lawyer rebuild an engine or build a house?
We aren't afraid to get our hands dirty. Knowing what it means to work with your hands also helps us know to how devastating the loss of a job due to an injury can be. A lawyer who knows the difference between a sill plate and a roof truss also has the ability to convey that difference to those who will be deciding your case--judges and jurors.

If possible, receive a full medical examination following the collision and report any tenderness or other injuries, no matter how minor they may seem. Next, you will need to give a statement to the police. It is important that you avoid making any claims of fault until all the facts are uncovered. You will understandably be shaken and upset after an accident, but it is important to give only the information you know. Also, if you are able, try to document the situation by writing down everything you remember while it is still fresh in your memory. Finally, contact Zanella, Boath & Associates, L.L.C. to discuss your case.

Personal injury usually does not require any fees up front. Instead, they charge on a contingency fee basis, which means that if you win your case, the lawyer will be entitled to a percentage of your award. If you do not win your case, you pay nothing. Many lawyers pay for case-related expenses (hiring medical experts to testify and obtaining medical records) up front and are reimbursed out of the recovery, assuming the case is won. In the event the case is not won, either the client is asked to repay these costs, or the law firm simply absorbs them. The financial arrangements of your case should be discussed with your attorney ahead of time so that you understand the fees for which you may be responsible.
